Is anyone else having this problem with Chrome right now, or otherwise know how to fix it?

This is as bad as it gets, but it can also sometimes just be a pixel or two missing in the text. If I use the mouse to highlight text when it looks like this, it usually restores it (but not always). It’s not happening on mobile Chrome, just the desktop version.

Have you tried updating or reinstalling? I’m not seeing this issue at all.

I’m not on Chrome but I recognize a sweet, sweet Z-16 Chevelle when I see it...

It’s already on the most current version.  I’d rather not reinstall it if I can avoid it.

Are you having this issue in any other programs or web browsers?

Nope, only Chrome.  I checked Edge to be sure, but it works normally.  Too bad I hate it.

No issue with the newest C hrome here. I’d start disabling addons and extensions to see if one of them is responsible

Only Wiki pages, or?

Negative. I’d start with clearing the cache and cookies , if no luck, reinstall. If you’ve synced your google account, it should reload all of your bookmarks, passwords, etc.

I did that, no change. I don’t have a lot of extensions loaded.

Font rendering issues may be caused by display drivers. Either the new Chrome version is doing something with hardware acceleration that the driver doesn't understand or the driver changed and introduced a bug. If you upgraded the display driver recently, try downgrading. Otherwise, try a current version.

Reset settings to defaults? Clear cache / temp files?

Bizarre. Have you double checked a ll of your language and regional s ettings? Using a vpn by chance? That's some weird stuff.

Maybe maybe a weird windows font tissue ? have you rebooted already ? Any windows   updates installed recently that may have caused this? I’ve also seen odd text issues like this with video driver problems. you might try installing the latest video driver.
